Miracle Eraser. seriously. Gets it cleaner than bleach, or any other suggestion above, even professional cleaning.

I've used that before. It works great with dirt/stain to a higher place a sealent. just if information technology hasnt been sealed for a long fourth dimension and the stain or clay is embeded in the grout it wont piece of work 100%. Plus the OP stated in that location are iv rooms that need to be washed. that is a lot of magic erasers (they dont terminal long) and a lot of scrubbing!

Yes...this production is normally used for laundry purposes...but it does suggest this use on their website.

I've used this for cleaning grout and it works quite well. And it has so many other uses! Great product.

I have used Stanley Steemer to clean my tile floors twice and it has always come out wonderfully. What they do is spray some sort of cleaner and h2o down and they scrub away with these broomlike brushes and they vacuum all the water and clay back up. I don't think my grout was sealed initially but it came upwards actually clean and i have very light colored grout.

My question though, is that last year after I had the tile cleaned, my dad came through and resealed the grout for me merely hither it is less than a year afterwards and my grout looks really bad again. I am wondering if the professionals employ amend stuff than what you tin can get at lowes? Any other suggestions?

It drives me crazy considering the grout is filthy and I am going to pay to take Stanley Steemer clean it over again. I don't remember how much information technology was but it was a good chip more than it cost to make clean the carpet.

My brother was a carpet cleaner and the 1 that suggested I get the cleaning professionally done. He told me to look on the bottle of sealer (he also did restoration piece of work and so knew some about that stuff) and it should say how long it will last. as well how well it was put on. Similar I told the OP Y'all should become dorsum over it a second time to make sure it is sealed correctly. If information technology is sealed totally water or sealer will not penetrate the grout. You lot likewise demand to call back the sealer is only to keep stains from going into the grout. It can however stain on top. (which is where the other cleaning methods come in handy for spot cleaning). I likewise recently had a professional company lay downward some floor tile and back splash for me. I double checked my research most the sealant with them and they confirmed. They could take made easy coin off me by telling me their stuff was amend simply didnt.

Default Muddy Grout?

Both Aqua-Mix and Laticrete make a professional grout paint that non but gives your tile the fresh wait your wanting, but it acts as a sealer and is nigh stainproof. I know that Dal tile in Morrisville carries the products. It is easy to paint on for someone who wanted to practise information technology themselves.

I have the same problem, been hither ix years had the white grout cleaned 2 times-
it looks well for say half-dozen months? Check the good housekeeping magazine they had
a tip, information technology was a pencil type item they raved about. I never sealed this grout, why,
I did not know. I also heard yes do it, and no? I have been looking at this
oreck automobile, information technology cleans carpeting, and grout? the price effectually 500.00?

The tooth brush really does not work great. a production which is not in the stores fannezel? seemed to work. lost in grout country I am. Coin wise, I am non sure,
to keep paying for the white, to plow dirty, is worth it. the oreck any? if information technology worked for sure? orbiter it is called.
